About Us
UIS Cancer Foundation Charitable Trust (UISCF) has been supporting underprivileged cancer patients and their caregivers with compassion, dignity, and hope since its inception in March 2021. It is a registered non-government charitable trust in Odisha committed to making cancer care more accessible and humane.
We extend free assistance to patients receiving treatment at leading government hospitals, including AIIMS, AHPGIC, SCB Medical College & Hospital, and Capital Hospital, as well as Ayushman Bharat-supported private healthcare facilities.
From the very first day of a patient’s cancer journey until the completion of treatment, we stand by them at every step. We help meet out-of-pocket expenses related to travel, accommodation during treatment, medicines, supportive care, and rehabilitation, ensuring that financial hardship does not become a barrier to quality cancer care.
Mission
To provide compassionate, comprehensive, and free support services to underprivileged cancer patients receiving treatment in government hospitals across Odisha. We are committed to easing the physical, emotional, and financial burdens of cancer by offering patient navigation and counselling, financial assistance, nutritional support, blood support, shelter, transportation, and continuous follow-up care. We also strive to promote early detection and cancer prevention through impactful awareness programs.
Vision
To ensure that no cancer patient in Odisha is deprived of care, dignity, or hope due to financial hardship. We envision expanding our services to all government hospitals in the state, creating a supportive ecosystem where every patient receives timely assistance, compassionate guidance, and access to essential resources throughout their cancer journey.
